YouEulogy.com was created by David Smith, a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, primarily as an Oracle Developer. But this platform isn't just the result of technical expertise—it's the product of deeply personal experiences that shaped David's understanding of loss, memory, and the profound importance of preserving the stories of those we love.

David's inspiration for this service stems from his own family's tragic history. His father, Henry Stephen Smith, died before David was born, taken away in a car accident that also claimed the life of David's eldest brother, Stephen Smith. Growing up without ever meeting his father or brother Stephen, David lived with an absence that could only be filled through the stories passed down by his mother and siblings.

These cherished stories became David's only connection to two beloved family members he never had the chance to meet. Through his mother's words and his siblings' memories, David came to understand the irreplaceable value of preserving and sharing the stories of our loved ones who have passed on.
